Description
A refreshing yet rich character wine with characters of honeybush tea. A touch of tannin, ripe and soft, mellowing on the palate. Beautiful texture and depth. Alc: 12.5% RS: 1.8g/l TA: 5.5g/l
In the vineyard
Grapes were handpicked at optimum ripeness end of February 2021.
In the cellar
Grapes were crushed and fermented on the skins for few days and pressed before fermentation was finished. After fermentation the wine was then racked and left in the tank until preparation for bottling. The wine was bottled in October 2021.
Pairing suggestions
A versatile food wine, pairs particularly well with fish and poultry. Can just as easily be enjoyed on its own!
